When logging in to start a new session, you will have to select which handle(s) are going to be present in that session. Each handle has information associated with it about the host that helps users find a host with certain characteristics that he or she is looking for. Why are handles important in terms of the proof-of-age documentation I provide to iFriends?

iFriends doesn't just need to verify that the owner of the chathost account is at least 18, we also need to verify that each participant in your videochat room is at least 18. That's why iFriends links your photo IDs, Age Documentation Sessions, Video Documentation Sessions and the iFriends agreements to your ID Card and/or account.

Are my handles going to expire?

It is not your handle that expires, it is the underlying Age Documentation Session (ADS) that expired and must be renewed -- at least once a year. Here's how it works: Each person who hosts under a screenname should have a unique handle. That handle will be associated with an actual person's legal name and birthday. For each person that has a handle, we must have a valid Age Documentation Session and a Video Age Documentation Session and original copies of all required forms and agreements, government issued photo id, and other ID. The Age Documentation Session is the ONLY part of the process that must be renewed each year. The Age Documentation Session is good for one year, and then it expires. When a handle no longer has a current Age Documentation Session on file, the handle cannot host under any screenname because, until the Age Documentation Session is renewed, the whole account has expired. If the person hosts under the screenname AFTER the Age Documentation Session has expired, the entire account will be closed until the Age Documentation Session has been renewed. Once a new Age Documentation Session has been submitted and approved for that ID Card, the ID Card/account will be opened again and can be used to host sessions.

Reguli generale

Administratorul:

• Va depune toate eforturile ( tehnice sau de orice alta natură ) pentru buna funcţionalitate a forumului. Cu toate acestea, vor putea exista întreruperi în funcţionare, sau imposibilităţi de accesare de către Utilizatori, pe o perioadă nedeterminată de timp, din orice motive.
• Interzice încălcarea dreptului de autor prin intermediul forumului.
• În cazul apariţiei unor situaţii noi de orice natură, administratorul poate modifica condiţiie şi termenii de utilizare.
• Mesajele şi/sau informaţiile transmise de utilizatori pot fi transferate în alte forumuri/discuţii de către administrator, dacă acesta apreciază că se potrivesc mai bine temei de destinaţie.De asemenea, mesajele şi/sau informaţiile transmise de utilizatori pot fi şterse de către administrator în cazul în care mai există discuţii pe temele respective sau în cazul în care acestea creează probleme, atacă sau harţuiesc unul sau mai mulţi utilizatori ai forumului, fără o dezbatere argumentată.
• Nu îşi asumă nici o responsabilitate cu privire la continutul mesajelor / informaţiilor transmise de utilizatori.

Obligaţiile utilizatorilor

La înregistrare, utilizatorii vor alege nick-uri care nu contin ID-uri şi adrese de web personale sau orice alte denumiri care au scop comercial.

Utilizatorii iau cunoştinţă şi sunt de acord că este interzisă postarea pe forumu a mesajelor cu conţinut abuziv, rasist, obscen, vulgar, jignitor, calomnios, de ură, ameninţător, de promovare a pirateriei software sau folosirea unui limbaj lasciv.

Înainte de a posta un subiect de discuţie, utilizatorii sunt sfătuiţi să folosească funcţia “Căutare” (“Search”). Această funcţie poate ajuta la găsirea răspunsului la întrebările utilizatorilor fără a aglomera inutil spaţiul forumului cu mesaje duplicat. Această funcţie există pentru a vedea daca subiectul de discuţie care prezintă interes pentru utilizator nu a fost deja dezbătut.

Utilizatorii sunt sfătuiţi să nu abuzeze de culori, fonturi, smiles (un maxim de trei simboluri grafice este suficient pentru a exprima o stare emoţională) şi nici de mărimea literelor şi să încerce să dea prioritate fondului în favoarea formei.

Regulile sunt reguli şi trebuie respectate. Moderatorii şi administratorii site-ului vor da avertismente de fiecare dată cînd se va încălca regulamentul. În cazul în care un utilizator nu respectă aceste reguli accesul la forum va fi restricţionat.
Restricţionarea poate însemna:

• Ştergerea mesajelor al căror conţinut nu respectă termenii şi condiţiile forumului
• Suspendarea temporară sau permanentă a contului şi a tuturor informaţiilor pe care le conţine

Adminstratorul va decide dacă restricţionarea va fi anunţată sau nu.

Utilizatorii îşi asumă răspunderea pentru informaţiile pe care le transmit sau publică pe Internet, folosind serviciile acestui portal. Adminsitraţia portalului nu are nici o responsabilitate juridică faţă de informaţiile publicate.

Confidenţialitate
În cazul serviciului de mesaje private de pe acest forum, administraţia va respecta faptul că mesageria privată este un proces privat între utilizatori. Ca urmare, va respecta caracterul privat al mesajelor personale ale utilizatorilor şi nu le va edita sau intercepta.
